2025 UCI Road World Championships Kigali

The official collection for the 2025 UCI Road World Championships in Kigali marks a historic milestone — the first time cycling’s greatest race takes place on African soil. It’s a celebration of connection: between people, places, and the bicycle — a timeless symbol of freedom, unity, and movement. For Rwandan artist Dolph Banza, who collaborated on the design, everything begins with the two primary roles bicycles play in his country: utility and competition. In Rwanda’s hilly landscape, the bicycle is more than a means of transport — it’s a vital connector in everyday life, bridging communities and possibilities. This sense of connection also lives in the design language of the collection. Banza drew inspiration from traditional Rwandan weaving. Woven patterns and motifs were everywhere — practical, decorative, and full of meaning. Though weaving today has become mostly ornamental, the identity it carries remains strong. In this collection, those woven motifs become visual threads that unify the elements of the design, telling a story of culture, pride, and belonging.

The design was created in collaboration with local artist Dolph Banza, who incorporated elements from his own culture and tradition to create exclusive graphics.

CHAMOIS TECHNOLOGY

Our technologies are crucial to the performance of our garments, and we have developed proprietary chamois brands to highlight the quality and feature levels of differently specced shorts. All the different Santini paddings are designed by us and are handmade in Italy using our specialist manufacturing techniques. We stitch the special curves and depressions on the internal part of the chamois from the inside, so that there are no seams in contact with the skin.

C3

C3 is an endurance high performance chamois, ideal for long hours in the saddle. The C3 chamois is constructed by using an innovative process called Carving. This special technique allows the pad maximum shock protection, incredible lightness, breathability, and perfect fit because it adheres better to the body allowing freedom of movement. The Rooted Gel located in the ischium (sit bones) area allows for neutralization of vibration when the pad is under stress.

GITevo

The technological evolution of the original bestseller GIT chamois with Twist Gel core, the silicone gel that absorbs shocksteadily and gradually. GITevo is even more performing because it is constructed with a Carving process that is able to create thicknesses without seams and sticking, reducing the weight and increasing the softness of the padding. The top layer with antibacterial microfiber and depressions on the surface, offers excellent fit and freedom of movement by protecting from chafing and irritation.

Foam Bio

FoamBio is an innovative endurance seat pad with an eco-friendly soul. Made from a special bio-foam derived from vegetable polyols, it is constructed using EvoLogic carving technology, which reduces foam waste by 80% compared to traditional carving techniques. This allows for smoother transitions between foams, increased saddle stability, seamless construction, minimized weight, and excellent air permeability. The chamois top layer is finished with an anti-bacterial microfiber made of 88% recycled polyester, which remains soft and breathable in contact with the skin. The pad offers different levels of shock absorption, with higher absorption on the ischiatic bones, and features refined edges for a zero-friction experience. It is ideal for long-distance rides of up to 5 hours.
