The Shimano Alivio RD-M3100 rear derailleur performs reliably even on rough terrain thanks to single pre-tension, without hitting the chainstay. It has a particularly flat " shadow" profile, which offers many advantages on narrow trails. The RD-M3100 can switch 9-speed cassettes up to 11-36 teeth. Both cages of the rear derailleur are made of robust steel.
